Kylie

Hi, I’m Kylie. I am married to Mal and we have two wonderful daughters, Caitlin and Aimee and a one eared dog named Mia. Our family loves to spend as much time as possible at the beach, swimming, surfing, snorkeling and fishing.

My background is in teaching, training and management. One of my passions is cooking, particularly desserts and entertaining family and friends. I am also very involved in local netball and within our girl’s old school community. I am privileged to be a local Councilor representing Wombolano Ward for Maroondah City Council.

Sarah

Hi, my name is Sarah; I have two beautiful boys Ben & Timothy.

I’ve spent the last 14 years in the pool teaching children from 6 months to 5 years how to Swim and be safe around the water. After many laughs , tears and celebrations keeping legs long, eyes down, arms up and bubble blowing, I’m spending a little less time in the water and more time in administration and management.

In my spare time you will find me walking many kilometres with my dog, helping my best friend with her floristry business and also enjoying life with my grown-up sons and beautiful new daughter in law Gabby.

So I’m looking forward to meeting you and your family soon as you begin your journey here.

Aimee

Hi, I am Aimee.

I am one of the Manager’s here at the pool and a Teacher.  My mum Kylie also works here; and my dad Mal is the unofficial maintenance man.

As long as I can remember, my family has swam, surfed, dived and fished – really anything to do with water and we are there.

I also have 2 gorgeous Labrador crosses who also love to go swimming with me at any chance they get.

My partner Mats and I have our own little one who will turn one in September.

I look forward to teaching your child and helping them to develop the same love of swimming that I found through lessons.

Lana

Hi there, my name is Lana. I am currently studying psychology at Uni. I have been a fish out of water since what feels like birth, and have attended swimming lessons from infanthood until I graduated from my swim program at 9 years old, and moved into squad swimming.

Swimming has been a passion of mine all of my life. I love the water and the comforting ease in which I can glide through the waves. My mum was the one who introduced me to swimming, as she cannot swim herself and never wanted my siblings and I to experience the fear and uncertainty she felt in the pool. I want to pay her back and pass on that sentiment by teaching others how to swim and ensuring that your kids learn to love the water as I do!
